  1. Knowledge is not fungible. It’s entirely possible to be really good at one thing, yet hopelessly suck at another. I’ve seen this countless times IRL. People I wouldn’t dare to challenge in their fields of expertise still manage to post utter nonsense, with total confidence, in other fields.
