  1. I don’t quite understand what Dethany did there…

Was it choice of the Luxury Suite or get stuck in the same room with her?

    • I think she’s just confirming that the actual suite matches up to the description from the website. Ads and promotional materials have been known to exaggerate, or even flat-out lie. People who are worn out from traveling and just want to get a little rest will often accept rooms that don’t quite live up to their billing, but Rose clearly isn’t having any of that.

  2. I too, found the joke a little confusing. I think if Ms. Trellis had said, “Dethany, GO check it out”, it might have made more sense.

    • I admit I had to think about it for a minute. I first thought she was asking Dethany to “check out” the key card, but I really couldn’t imagine why.

  3. Working for a hotel I can tell you it’s not intentional on our part. The franchise company pays photographers to dress the property up. I call it lying especially when they place views outside a window that doesn’t exist or digitally brighten up a space like the pool room. You would need sunglasses at my hotel if it was actually as bright as they show it on the website.
