  1. There’s a reason I suspended my account in 2013 and never looked back.

I don’t need a forum where I see all my friends saying horrible things (in the name of politics, of course) that they would never say straight to my face. I signed off before I lost all semblance of respect for people I used to spend a lot of time with.

Combined with FB’s complete mismanagement of everything (as more and more news reports demonstrate), there really is no point for anyone to use this service anymore.

Unless they like the propaganda and hatred.

  2. This comic comes at a great time for me – just got Instagram’s updated privacy info and I have to “agree” to it – um, nope – I decided to ditch all social media today – keeping only email. I think I will share this comic on FB though, before I sign off for good! 🙂

    • Yeah, but it’s still preconceived notions. Just from both sides of the aisle.

Politics is simply a simplistic way of looking at severely complicated issues, and social media simplifies it even more,

  3. I don’t do Facebook.

    Or Twitter.

Or SnapChat, MySpace, SecondLife, or LinkedIn.

I subscribe to a few hobby- and work-related List Servers and BBSs.

I have a REAL web site. And REAL friends. And a LIFE.

  4. …Only since 2004? I didn’t use social media back then, so I’m honestly curious if networks older than Facebook weren’t guilty of the same thing.
